Now Hiring Packaging Operators!
$22.00 to $23.00 with the potential to earn more with experience.
North Star Processing here in Litchfield, MN operates on 12-hour rotating shifts:
Day shift run on a 2-2-3 schedule, working 6 am to 6 pm
Night shift run 7 days on and 7 days off, working 6 pm to 6 am
Both shifts work every other weekend
Night shift does receive a shift differential
Responsibilities:
Handling of finished product in 50-lb. bags
Prepares documentation manually or by using the computer
Prepares ingredients for processing
De-packaging and accurately weighing ingredients
Cleaning of the equipment/facility during cleaning cycles
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to lift 55 lbs. repeatedly
Detail oriented with the ability to learn and retain information
Understands the need for cleanliness
Possesses basic math skills
Ability to document information accurately and legibly
