DESCRIPTION:With Spring in the air\, it's time to encourage your employees to join the Chamber's Walk/Bike To Work Day! \n\n	\n\n	Why have a Walk/Bike To Work Day?\n\n	\n\n	It's FUN! \n\n	Biking to work builds morale\, encourages camaraderie\, and is a great way to be active in our community.\n\n	\n\n	It's HEALTHY!\n\n	Active employees are more alert\, take fewer sick days\, and are more productive.\n\n	\n\n	It's GREEN!\n\n	Walking/biking reduces your carbon footprint\, reduces traffic congestion\,and can save you money.\n\n	\n\n	Sign up your business and get your employees to participate!   The employer with the highest percentage of employees getting to work on their own power will have a nice surprise for their staff!\n\n	\n\n	For those employees who live outside the city limits\, we are encouraging people to park their car at Lake Ripley Memorial Park (on south Highway 22)\; the east side of the Civic Arena\; or the Walmart parking lot and bike into work.\n\n	\n\n	This activity will take place rain or shine...let us hope for excellent weather!
