DESCRIPTION:Felling Trailers' Youth Welding Camp introduces students (ages 12 18) to the world of welding and metal fabrication. It's a great way to explore future career paths and gain real-world experience!\n\n\n\nThis camp allows students to explore the career opportunities and requirements of a professional metal fabricator! The content emphasizes the development of beginner-level skills\, key to the success of working in the welding industry. Students will study workplace safety\, basic manufacturing processes\, and basic print reading skills. There will be a project to complete to a spec that the students will be able to take home at the end of the term.\n\n\n\nClass Goals:\n\n	Introduce students to proper safety in the workplace environment. \n	Introduce students to basic skills required in the manufacturing industry.  \n\nProtective equipment required is work boots and jeans. We can provide bus transportation to the class. Parents are responsible for securing transportation at the end of each class.
