A strong workplace mental health support program helps organizations create an environment where employees feel respected, supported, and able to access help when needed. This interactive two-hour training provides leaders, HR professionals, safety professionals, and program champions with a practical framework for developing or strengthening a workplace mental health support program.
Participants will explore the key elements of an effective program, including leadership commitment, policy and procedure considerations, employee education, supervisor support, resource identification, communication strategies, and response planning. The course emphasizes practical steps organizations can take to reduce stigma, encourage early support, promote psychological safety, and ensure employees know where to turn when concerns arise.
Through guided discussion, case studies, and planning activities, participants will leave with practical tools and ideas they can apply to build a more supportive and responsive workplace culture.
