Youth Welding Camp
Felling Trailers’ Youth Welding Camp introduces students (ages 12–18) to the world of welding and metal fabrication. It’s a great way to explore future career paths and gain real-world experience!
This camp allows students to explore the career opportunities and requirements of a professional metal fabricator! The content emphasizes the development of beginner-level skills, key to the success of working in the welding industry. Students will study workplace safety, basic manufacturing processes, and basic print reading skills. There will be a project to complete to a spec that the students will be able to take home at the end of the term.
Class Goals:
- Introduce students to proper safety in the workplace environment.
- Introduce students to basic skills required in the manufacturing industry.
