Job Description
Duties and responsibilities include performing professional legal services in support of the County Attorney’s Office. Collaborate and support justice agencies and county departments in completing the duties of the Office. Responsible for providing legal advice, opinions and representing the County in civil court cases. Prosecution of adult and juvenile criminal matters. Responsibilities may include meeting with witnesses and victims; drafting legal documents including research and writing; preparing cases for court hearings and trials; providing legal advice to various County staff; representing the County in court; handling appeals; other duties as required by statute and law; and other duties as assigned.
