Learn how to offer food samples at the Safe Food Sampling at Farmers’ Markets amd Commmunity Events workshop on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the Meeker County Hospital Meeting room in Litchfield. Debbie Botzek-Linn, University of Minnesota Extension Food Safety Educator, will provide an overview of the Minnesota 2014 Safe Food Sampling law. Vendors and food demonstrators will learn how to prepare and offer food samples implementing safe food handling practices to minimize the risk of foodborne illness.
